Obituary of Lynne Childs

Peacefully, with family by her side, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Sunday, March 2, 2025, Alma Evelyn “Lynne” Childs (nee Mathieson), in her 86^th year. 

Beloved and loving wife of Marvin Arthur Childs, of 67 years.  Cherished mother of Thomas (Cheryl Paré) and Susan (Mike) Dann. Devoted grandma of Adam Hawkins, Jennifer (Rob) Linner, Nathan Hawkins, Kimberley (Kellen) Hammell and Conner Dann and 5 great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Janice (Errol) Aveling.  Lynne will be missed by her nieces and nephews, family and friends. 

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Lynne’s Life will be held at North Middlesex Community Center, 224 McLeod St., Parkhill, on Sunday, March 16th, 2025, from 1-5 p.m. Words of remembrance will be shared at 3:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Lung Association would be acknowledged by the family.
