Johnstone, James “Jim”

With heavy hearts the family of Jim Johnstone announces his passing on April 19th,2025 at the age of 83. Cherished husband of Janet Johnstone for 57 wonderful years who was by his side when he passed.

Loving brother of Robert Johnstone (Bob), Donna Lynne Fraser (Sandy) and Mary Meaden (Joe). Jim will be sadly missed by his several nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Harold (1998) and Laura Johnstone.(1977) Brother-in-law of Jack Nevill (Carol) and Doug Nevill (Late Fia). Jim will be fondly remembered by many friends.

Jim was a huge fan of the North Middlesex Stars hockey team and attended as many games as possible.  Jim was known for his special bakery goodies during 48 years in the family Johnstone Bakery business.

Special thanks to the wonderfully caring staff and volunteers at Jessica’s House who were a great support to Jim and his family at the end of life.

A visitation will take place on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 from 12:00pm until time of memorial service at 1:00pm at Denning’s of Parkhill. Interment to follow at Parkhill Cemetery.
