Obituary of William Kenneth Simpson

Peacefully passed on Saturday, February 27th, 2016 at the L.H.S.C- University Hospital, in his 71st year - William “Bill” Simpson of Strathroy. Beloved spouse of Donna Walsh. Proud father of Jim, Shelley and Melissa (Andy). Cherished grandfather of Josh, Lyndsey, Dylan, Stephaine, Jimmy, Brandon and Luke. Loved by his 5 great-grandchildren. Survived by his sisters Shirley (John) MacKichan and Betty Doyle. Dear son-in-law of Jim and Elda Walsh and brother-in-law of Kim (Brent) Drew and Jim (Kerri) Walsh. Predeceased by his parents Ken and Kay Simpson and his sister Irene Simpson. Bill was a casual man. To honour him, no suits are required. Friends will be received at the Ailsa Craig Community Centre on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2016 at 11 a.m. until the time of Bill’s Celebration of Life at 12:30 p.m. Interment at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to London Cardiac Fitness Institute, Alzheimer’s Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
