Obituary of Ian McLaren

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Sunday November 18, 2012 surrounded by family and friends, Ian McLaren of Strathroy, in his 67 th year. Beloved husband of the late Stephanie (Hall) McLaren (1996) and loving father of Kate McLaren of Oakville. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Stewart and Jean McLaren of London. Ian was a well respected businessman in Strathroy for 33 years. He was a member of the Ontario Land Surveyors, a chartered member of the Strathroy Rotary Club and was a recipient of the Paul Harris Fellowship Award. Ian enjoyed life, fellowship and friends and was an avid golfer. Cremation has taken place. A memorial funeral service and visitation will take place on Friday November 23, 2012 from 12 pm to service time of 1:00 pm with Rev. Karen Nelles officiating at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 34 Head St. N Strathroy. A time of fellowship will follow service at the church hall. Private family interment at a later time.
