Obituary of Doris Ballantine

Peacefully surrounded by family on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, Doris Christina Ballantine (nee Cobban) at the age of 92. Loving wife of the late Donald Ballantine. Beloved mother of Beth Marshall, Linda (Gordon) Murray, Janice (Ted) Orr and Jim (Annette) Ballantine. Dear grandmother of Jane (Thadd), Sarah (Chris), Robert (Jess), Kathy, Jenn (Myles) and Kevin. Lovingly remembered by sister-in-law Marion Steep and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Denning Bros Funeral Home, Strathroy on Saturday, November 17th from 12:00 pm until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 pm with Dr. Brian McKenzie officiating. Private family interment to take place in Cook's Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Strathmere Lodge Auxiliary or a charity of your choice.
