Obituary of Frederick Barfett

Peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Friday, September 7, 2012 Frederick James Barfett of Strathroy at the age of 74. Loving husband of Joanne Barfett (nee Williams) for 53 years. Beloved father of Penny Rosen (Robert), Jennifer Barfett-Lloyd (Michael) and Frederick (Irina) Barfett. Dear grandfather of Mitchell, Jacob and Samuel. Survived by sister; Carol Hooper. Predeceased by parents; Frederick & Phyllis Barfett, brother; Eugene Barfett and sister; Doris Robinson. Friends will be received on Sunday, September 9th from 2-5 pm at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy where a funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, September 10th at 1:00 PM. Interment to follow in Longwood Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation or to the VON London Middlesex. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Frederick.
