Obituary of James Pardy

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Pardy. Jim passed away peacefully, in his sleep, at the age of 77. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife and best friend of fifty one years Audrey. Survived by sons Jim and his wife Jackie of Mt. Brydges, and Robert of Vancouver. Proud papa to his grandchildren James and David. Sister to Marjorie Copp and predeceased by his sister Jean Lindsay. Survived my many nieces and nephews. A lifetime resident of Mount Brydges, Jim was devoted to his family and community. Jim served as deputy reeve and councillor for Caradoc Township and Strathroy-Caradoc respectively from 1991 to 2010. Cremation has taken place. There will be a private funeral service for family on Saturday, July 7th, There will be a reception for friends and family on Sunday, July 8th, 2012 from 2 - 4 p.m. at the Mt. Brydges Community Centre. Casual dress is requested. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
