Obituary of Neil MacPhail

Peacefully at Sprucedale Care Centre, Strathroy on Sunday April 29, 2012, Neil Duncan MacPhail passed, in his 91st year. Beloved husband of the late Florence MacPhail (Starko)(2007). Loving father of Barbara Haight and her friend Keith Heron of Strathroy, Glen MacPhail, and David (Paula) MacPhail of Surrey, B.C. Cherished grandfather of Todd Welter, Robert MacPhail, Karen McCann and Wendy Gould. Great grandfather of eight. Dear brother of Viola McCloy of Wardsville. Predeceased by his siblings John, Doug and Flora. Neil was an active member of the Strathroy Legion, Masonic Lodge and the Eastern Star. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. with a Legion Memorial Service under the direction of Legion Branch #116 Strathroy at 6:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, May 4, 2012 at 11 a.m. Interment in Cowell-McBride Cemetery. In memory of Neil, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or charity of choice.
