Obituary of William Sills

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday April 9, 2012. William J."Bill" Sills of Port Franks and formerly of Strathroy in his 95th year. Beloved husband of the late Rena A. Sills (2004) and a dear loving father of Shirley (Percy) Campbell of Thedford, Marilyn Schlegel (predeceased by Wayne 1992) of Grand Bend, Elaine (Rick) Bedard of Chatham, Diane (Alan) Lantz of Elmwood and Bonnie (Michael Basley) of Fullarton. Bill is also survived by 15 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren as well as his sisters in law Mary (Harnett) Sills and Diane (Book) Sills . Predeceased by his brothers Ivan and Sam Sills. Visitation for family and friends will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME LTD, STRATHROY on Wednesday April 11, 2012 from 7 pm to 9 pm. Visitation from 11:30 until service time. Funeral service will be held on Thursday April 12, 2012 at 1:00 pm from St.John the Evangelist Anglican Church Head St N. Strathroy with Rev. Karen Nelles officiating. Interment, Strathroy Cemetery. A Masonic Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:30 pm under the auspices of Beaver Lodge #83 AF&AM Strathroy. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
