Obituary of Alice Dobbie
Peacefully at London Health Sciences Centre, University Campus on Saturday, February 25, 2012, Alice Joan Dobbie (nee Hall) in her 87th year. Loving wife of the late Oscar Donald Dobbie (1967). Beloved daughter of the late Reuben and Blanche Hall and predeceased by her brothers, Garfield Hall and David Hall. Survived by sister-in-law Betty Ann Piggot. Dear aunt of Beverly Nelson, Hope Hall and Glen Hall, Judy Dobbie, John, Bill and Bob Dobbie, Jim and Tom Grieve and predeceased by a nephew, Frank Payne. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Joan's life, will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. at Grace Anglican Church, Ilderton. Visitation to be held one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at St. Georges Anglican Church Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to the Grace Anglican Church Memorial Fund. Joan wanted to wish a fond farewell to many cousins here and in the United Kingdom, a very special friend Bernadette in Vancouver, as well as many wonderful friends. Joan's words to those she leaves behind..."I have journeyed through life, ending with wonderful care at Craigwiel Gardens. May God bless you all with His and my love till we meet again."
