Obituary of Roger Kennedy

Kennedy, Roger - Peacefully with his family by his side, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Monday, February 20, 2012 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Roger Alexander Kennedy at the age of 54. Loving husband of Shelley (nee Barge) and proud father of Tyler, Jaimie and Jocelyn. Sadly missed by his parents Garven and Ruth Kennedy and siblings, Anne McGowan (Brian), Robert and Barbara Cline (Brad). Son-in-law of Donald and Margaret Barge. Brother-in-law of Joanne Romanow (Paul). Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews and extended family. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received on Thursday, February 23rd from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at Strathroy United Church, 92 Maria Street, Strathroy, 519-245-0276 where a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 24th at 11:00 am with Reverend Julia Sinclair officiating. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, please send a memorial donation to Conservation Halton Foundation at www.canadahelps.org or to the Canadian Cancer Society. A tree will be planted and a memorial bench will be placed at the St. Clair Conservation Area as a loving memorial to Roger.
