Obituary of John Charlton

Peacefully at his home on Monday, February 20, 2012, John "Jack" Kenneth Charlton of Denfield at the age of 77. Loving husband of W. Doreen Charlton (nee Maki). Loving stepfather of Wilma (Edward) Bartlett of London, Marlene (Mark) Newman of Dorchester, Linda (Jim) Limon of Strathroy, and Jim (Enid) Dorman of Alvinston. Survived by many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Annie Mae Charlton, sister Audrey Payne and his brothers Maxwell and Don Charlton. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy. A Funeral Service will be held at the Poplar Hill Christian Church, Poplar Hill on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at 1p.m with Pastor Bruce Gibb officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. In memory of Jack, donations may be made to the Poplar Hill Christian Church or Participaction House, London in support of Jack's grandson's autism.
