Obituary of Wilma Steeper

Peacefully at LHSC- Victoria Campus on Monday, February 20, 2012, Wilma Elizabeth Steeper (McNair) of Ailsa Craig passed away, in her 75th year. Beloved wife of the late Rayburn Steeper (2003) and Stuart Lee. Loving mother of Ron and Shelley Steeper of Ailsa Craig, Sandy and Rick Zupancic of London and Kim Steeper and Tom McLean of Grand Bend. Cherished grandmother of Jeremy (Krystal), Joshua and Julie Steeper; Sunny and Teal Zupancic. Great-grandma of Hendrix Zupancic. Dear sister and sister in law of Elaine Charlton (late Gerald), Ruth Kipp (late Don Kennedy), Elaine McNair (Dennis Rempel) (late Doug), Gwen McNair (late Bob) and Shirley McNair (late Jim). Wilma will be sadly missed by her extended Steeper and Lee families as well as her favourite cat Molly. Wilma enjoyed her Tuesday Tunes in Seaforth, dances in Wyoming, Leisure club in Parkhill, the Happy Gang and various jamborees and musical events. She was a devoted member of the Brinsley United Church for many years. Visitation will be held at the T.Stephenson and Son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig, on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at the Ailsa Craig Community Centre, 155 Annie Ada Shipley, Ailsa Craig, on Friday, February 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. with Rev. David Mitchell officiating. Interment to follow in Parkhill Cemetery. In memory of Wilma, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Ailsa Craig Food Bank.
