Obituary of Maria Farpelha

Peacefully on Thursday, Feb 16, 2012 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Maria Amaral Farpelha at the age of 77. Loving wife of Antonio for 51 years. Beloved mother of Edward (Sharon), Carlos (Aureliana), Rosemary (John) Hague and Tony (Betty). Survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Forever remembered by her sisters Fatima, Lourdes and Rosa. Also loved by many nieces, nephews and extended family members. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy, on Friday, February 17th from 2-4 and 6-9 pm with Vigil Prayers to be prayed at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Church, Strathroy, on Saturday, February 18th at 10:00 am with Father Lucio Couto officiating. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association. A tree will be planted in memory of Maria.
