Obituary of Willem Nuyten

Nuyten, Willem in his 91st year passed peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, January 23, 2012. Beloved husband of Nelly (Havermans) of 64 years. Dear father of Veronica (Steve) Konecny, Peter (Flavia) Nuyten, Lia (Floyde) Desjardine, Anita Hodgins (Fred), Gary Nuyten, and Steve Nuyten. Loving grandfather of Shannon (Jen), Renee (Mark), Valerie, Monique (Dale), Jen, Kyle, Tovianne, Rachel and Elizabeth. Will be greatly missed by his great-grandchildren Kyle, Avery, Erin and Matthew. Survived by his brother Peter (Betty) Nuyten (Canada), as well as a brother, sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law in Holland. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St.W Strathroy on Friday January 27, 2012 from 2-4 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in All Saints Roman Catholic Church, 124 Head St. E, Strathroy on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 10 a.m. with Father Lucio Couto officiating. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. A special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at Strathroy Hospital for their attentive care.
