Obituary of Maria Faria

Peacefully, after a long battle with cancer. On Tuesday October 25, 2011 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. Maria Faria of Strathroy in her 76th year. Beloved wife for 59 years to Jose' Faria of Strathroy and Dear mother of Alda Rebelo (Joe) and Tony Faria (Liz) all of Strathroy and grandmother of Gregory, Stacey (Ermal), Zachary, Rachelle and Justin. Great grandmother of Isaiah, Braylon, Mateo, Sebastian and Caleb. Maria is also survived by a sister in law Palmira and Manuel Dutra of the Azores. Predeceased by her parents Julia DaSilva (2008) and Tony DaSilva (1944). Visitation will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME, STRATHROY on Wednesday October 26, 2011 from 7 pm to 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Thursday October 27, 2011 at 11:00 am with Father Lucio Couto, Celebrant. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Parish prayers will be said at the funeral home on Wednesday at 6:30 pm Donations to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Maria.
