Obituary of Ray Vander

Passed away at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Friday April 1, 2011. Ray Vander of Strathroy in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Marie Vander(2009) and dear father of Ron (Melissa) Vander of Strathroy and Chris (Emma) Vander of Mississauga and remembered by his 5 grandchildren as well as his sister Isabel Wilton of London. Predeceased by his brother Irving Vander of Chatham. Visitation will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME LTD. Strathroy on Sunday April 3, 2011 from 2pm to 4pm & 7pm to 9pm. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Sunday at 6:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Monday April 4, 2011 at 11:00am with Father Lucio Couto, Celebrant. Interment to follow at All Saints Cemetery. Donations in memory of Ray to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be plantd in memory of Ray.
