Obituary of Mary Cann-Jordan-Wight
The vibrant smiles of Mary Lou will never be forgotten, as her laughter and charm live on in the memories of her many loved ones. There is an urgent need to include poodles here, as Mary Lou not only surrounded herself with people but was an avid animal lover too. Peacefully, in her 80th year, Mary Louise Wight of Grand Bend passed on at Watford Quality Care on Saturday, March 26. Beloved wife of the late John Wight (1983) and Frank Jordan. Adored sister of John Cann and friend Ilene. Dear mother of Bill and Angie Jordan of Arkona, Alan and Colleen Jordan of Sebringville, Frank and Glenda Jordan of Edmonton, Alberta, and Ann Jordan-Rothwell and Paul Rothwell of Campbell River, B.C. Loved grandmother of Natasha, Wendy, Billy, Michael, Brent, Winter, Amie, Tracy, John and many great grand-children. Predeceased by grandson John Jordan, granddaughter Misty Jordan, brother Jim Cann, sister Jean Miller and her parents Jack and Jean Cann. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Saturday, April 2 from 12 - 2 PM when a memorial service will be held with Pastor Roger Gast officiating. Interment of ashes to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or your local SPCA. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Mary Lou. Daughter Ann proposes that April 1st, Mary Lou's birthday, be a day to honour those with Alzheimers by wearing blue and planting forget me nots.
