Obituary of Maria Tavares

At Watford Quality Care Centre, Watford, on Tuesday January 18, 2011. Maria Dos Santos Tavares formerly of Strathroy in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Gil Furtado and dear mother of Gil Moniz, Joe Moniz, Gloria Costa, Margerita Rosa, Fatima Vivieros, Antonia Medeiros and Lourdos Medeiros also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Predeceased by a son Manuel Moniz. Visitation will be held on Friday January 21 from 3 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm with Vigil prayers at 6:30 pm on Friday at the DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME 32 Metcalfe St.W. Strathroy. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, January 22, 2011 from All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Front St. E. Strathroy. Father Lucio Couto officiating. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Strathroy.
