Obituary of Donald McArthur

At Strathmere Lodge on Wednesday December 22, 2010. Donald Campbell McArthur of Mt. Brydges in his 83rd year. Dear brother and best friend of Malcolm (Mac) McArthur of Mt. Brydges also survived by his nieces Pauline Vanderheide and her husband John of Strathroy and Karen Glover and her husband Dale of Mt. Brydges and his brother in law Leslie Bramley of Strathroy, as well as several great nieces nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents Alexander and Christina (Campbell) McArthur and his sister Florence Bramley. Don farmed in Caradoc Twp. with his brother Mac his entire life and enjoyed his travels to Mennonite country, the family farm, relatives and neighbours and his many big boy toys. Don always greeted everyone with a handshake and a big smile. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Monday December 27, 2010 from 6 pm to 9 pm where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday December 28, 2010 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Charles Seed officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Donald.
