Obituary of Dalton Walpole

Peacefully, at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig on Friday, October 8, 2010. Dalton E. Walpole of Strathroy in his 92nd year. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (1987) and Velma (2009) Walpole, Loving brother of Phyllis (Don) Mohr of B.C. Dear uncle of Jim, Phyllis, Mary, Dianne, Joyce, Jeff, David, Paul and Peter. Predeceased by his brother Vic, sister Velma and niece Carol. Dalton will be best remembered for his passion for music. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Sir Arthur Currie Branch 116, Strathroy, The Golden K Kiwanis Club of Owen Sound, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church of Strathroy and was a long time member of The London Musicians Association. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Wednesday, October 13 from 6-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 14 at 11 Am with Rev. Steve Boose and Rev. Charles Seed officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Strathroy would be appreciated.
