Obituary of Donald McLean

Peacefully at Country Terrace, Komoka, on Thursday, September 16, 2010, Donald Alexander McLean, formerly of Strathroy Caradoc, in his 86th year. Loving husband of Irene for 62 years. Dear father of Linda and Fred Longstaffe, Donna and Wes Dengate, and Barbara McLean. Fondly missed by his grandchildren Jeffrey, Jamie (Alayna), Meghan and Matthew Longstaffe, Kathy (Don) Naylor, Tim (Carolyn) Dengate, and Rob (Shantel) Dengate and 12 great-grandchildren. Survived by brothers John A. (Mary) and Archie L. (Janet), and sisters Margaret (Eugene) McDonald, Marion Skinner and Anne McLean. Predeceased by his brother George. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday from 2-5 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held in North Caradoc - St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church, 8503 Scotchmere Drive, Strathroy on Monday, September 20, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Kathy Fraser officiating. Interment to follow in the McLean Family Cemetery. In memory of Donald, donations may be made to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital or the North Caradoc- St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church.
