Obituary of Helen Thynne

Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Watford Quality Care Centre, Watford on Monday August 9, 2010. Helen E.(Potter)(Patterson) Thynne formerly of Kerwood Ont. in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Patterson (1976) and the late Rev. Harold Thynne (2006). Loving mother and mother in law to Robert (2008) and Donna Patterson and Carmen (2008) and Judy Patterson Special Gramma, Grandma, Nan and Great Grandmother of Kathy (Jerry) Hendrikx, Emily ,Erin, Scott and Meghan; Robin (John) McLenon, Olivia and Daniel; Robbie (Tami) Patterson, Ryan, Kyle , Torrie and Makenna; Ryan (Lindsay) Patterson, Jackie Patterson, Joe(Mandy) Patterson, Brooke, Bryson, and Morgan: Leslie (Trevor), Lawrence, Michael and Jamie. Great Great grandmother of Michael Cook; Dear sister of Georgina Baxter of Strathroy and Maxine Blain of Sarnia. Predeceased by her parents George and Ethel Potter of Watford, brother Frank and sister Erie. Visitation will be held at DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME , STRATHROY on Wednesday August 11, 2010 from 3 pm to 5 pm and 7 pm to 9 pm where funeral service will be held on Thursday August 12, 2010 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Roger Gast officiating. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery. Donations in memory of Helen may be made to charity of your choice. The family would like to thank Watford Quality Care for the wonderful care and compassion they showed to Helen these last 3 years. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Helen.
