Obituary of Beatrice Phillips

On Monday, July 26, 2010, Beatrice Phillips (nee Scott) of Denfield, beloved wife of the late Jack Phillips (2002), peacefully passed away with family by her side. Loving mother of Glenn (Sharleen), Gayle (Ken) Ready and Bill (Ann). Much loved grandma of Lisa (David), Mark ( Kerri), Scott (Kelly), Alan (Sarah) and Jennifer (Darryl) and great grandmother of Jacob, Braydon, Camden and Jordan. A special "Grandma Bea" to many. Dear sister of Laurence, Bertha and Jim (Joan) and sister-in-law of Ruth and Irene. Predeceased by siblings Olive, Stanley, Gordon and Harold and sisters-in-law Hazel and Edith and brothers-in-law Earl and Joe. Cremation and a private family service will take place. Friends will be received on Friday, July 30th from 3-4 pm at Ailsa Craig Community Centre (155 Annie Ada Shipley Street, Ailsa Craig) followed by a celebration of Bea's life at 4:00 pm with Reverend David Mitchell officiating. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Carlisle United Church, Ilderton & District Lions Club or to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Beatrice.
