Obituary of Freeda Beintema

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Wednesday July 14, 2010, Freerkje "Freeda" Beintema (Vanderheide) went to be with the Lord, in her 70th year. Beloved wife of Steve Tjisse Beintema of Watford. Loving mother of John, Darlene Vreeken (Rene), Katherine, Linda Pol (Lewis), Geraldine Pennings (Kevin), Tracey and Josephine. Cherished grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 2. Dear sister of Wieger Vanderheide (Turnie), Ida Kroesbergen (Guert), Sidney Vanderheide (Ina), Theresa De Haan (Herman), Bertha Vanderheide, and Max Vanderheide (Bev). Dear sister-in-law of Harmen Beintema (Martha), Jitske Beintema, Ynske Jensma and Renske DeWeerd. Predeceased by her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Gerrit Beintema, Fred Beintema (Pietje), Jan Beintema, Renze Beintema (Itske), Jasper Jensma and George DeWeerd. Freeda will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held at Providence United Reformed Church (447 Second Street, Strathroy) on Friday from 6-9 p.m. where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Harry Zekveld officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. In memory of Freeda, donations may be made to the CNIB.
