Obituary of Albert Thompson

Thompson, Albert Russell - Veteran of WWII - On May 23, 2010, in his 87th year, surrounded by his loving family at Parkwood Hospital. Beloved husband of 60 years to Audrey Jean (Wilton) Thompson of London, cherished father of D.A. (Sandra) Thompson, James (Nancy) Thompson, and Nancy (Daniel) Davis. Remembered with such affection by grandchildren, Cheri (Ed) Rudy, Christy (Chris) Gerrits, Mathew (Nelia) Thompson, Bob (Tabitha) Thompson, Jeffery(Jeffery's special Pa Wilson) Josh and Ethan Davis, Adam, Matt (Julie) and Chad. Treasured Papa Bert to nine great grandchildren. Remembered with love and such good memories by his sisters and their husbands, Helen and Merlin Clark, Eileen and Ernest McEwen and sister-in-law, Ella Thompson. Predeceased by his brother Alex. Visitors will be welcomed by the family at the DENNING BROS. FUNERAL HOME 32 Metcalfe West, STRATHROY, from 7:00 - 9:00 pm Tuesday, May 25, 2010 and for one hour prior to the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 26, 2010.
