Obituary of Elmer Clark

Now safe in the arms of Jesus. Elmer Thomas Clark of Strathroy passed away peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Saturday, May 15th, 2010 in his 90th year. Beloved husband of the late Rosanna Catherine Clark (Richardson) (Degraw)(2008), and the late Violet Doris Clark (Morgan) (1982). Loving father of Sharon (Ron) Connery of Orillia, Dennis (Mary Ann) Clark of Tillbury and step-father of Larry (Pat) Richardson of Kingston, Marie Richardson (Fortner MacKinlay) of Strathroy, Donna (Glen) Brown of Strathroy and Faye (Ken) Cates of Komoka. Cherished grandfather of 20, great-grandfather of 29, and great-great-grandfather of 4. Dear son of John Thomas Clark (deceased) and Florence May Clark (Kerr) (deceased). Cherished brother of Violet (deceased), Melvin (deceased), Dorothy (deceased), Ernest (deceased), Mary, Gladys, Bernice, Inez, Cecil (deceased), Keith (deceased). Elmer will also be fondly remembered by his extended family. Family and friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W., Strathroy for visitation on Monday, May 17th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Calvary Pentecostal Church, 301 Pannell Lane, Strathroy on Tuesday, May 18th, visitation 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Rob Esson officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation or the Calvary Pentecostal Church.
