Obituary of Hendrika Bergsma

Hendrika Bergsma (Hofsteenge) went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Peacefully at home in her 82nd year; on Friday May 14, 2010. Beloved wife of Tom Bergsma of Strathroy for 54 years and loving mother of Joyce Power (Brian), Neil (friend Corrine), Ron (Ivan) and Oma to Chris, Patrick and Jade. Predeceased by a son Tommy (1967). Special thanks to Barb Low of Paramed for her kind and compassionate care of Hennie. Visitation will be held at the East Christian Reformed Church 476 Metcalfe St. E Strathroy on Monday May 17, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm where a memorial funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 18, 2010 at 11 am with Pastor Andrew de Gelder officiating. A private family interment at Strathroy Cemetery will be held prior to the service. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Community Christian School would be appreciated by the family.
