Obituary of June Denning

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of June Lorraine Denning (nee Giles) of Strathroy on Wednesday March 24th, 2010 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital in her 73rd year. Beloved wife for 50 years of Raymond Denning of Strathroy. Lovingly remembered by her children Julie Stapleton (Gerry) of London, Jayne Pratt (Roland) of Westfield, Pennsylvania and David Denning (Carolyn) of London. Cherished Grandma of James and Jonathan Pratt and Andrew and Liam Denning. Much loved sister of Joyce Phillips (Larry 2003) of Corunna and Jack Giles(Linda) of Dutton. Loved step-daughter of Joyce Giles of Strathroy. Dear sister- in-law of Shirley Martin (George 1998) of London and Marilyn Townend (Bill) of London. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by her parents Lillian Giles (1962) and Donald Giles (2009). June was known for her hospitality, her volunteer hours in the community, her love of travel, her enjoyment of family events and the light of her life her four grandsons whom she loved dearly. She will be greatly missed in our lives and leaves many wonderful memories we will always cherish. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held on Monday March 29, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tom Anderson officiating. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Outreach Services of McCormick Home, St. Paul's Anglican Church Kerwood or VON Strathroy
