Obituary of Marie Cuddy

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Strathmere Lodge, Strathroy, on February 13, 2010, Margaret Velma Marie Cuddy passed away in her 87th year. Beloved wife for 58 1/2 years of the late Gordon Cuddy (2000). Devoted mother to Carol and Rick Evans of Komoka, Janice and Chuck Tomlinson of Ancaster, Diane and Tom McIntosh and Edward and Maureen Cuddy all of Strathroy. Loving Grammie to Chuck, Kami, Jessica and Braden, Ashleigh, Christopher and Jennifer, Danielle and Mathew, Tonya and David, Jeffery and Kelsey, Kiel, Corey and Marissa. Special Grammie-Great to Julia, Benjamin, Nahum and Leigha. Dear sister-in-law to Marguerite (Cuddy) and Patricia (Cuddy). A warm heart-filled thank you to all the nurses and staff at Strathmere Lodge who helped Mom along her life's journey. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe Street W, Strathroy; (519) 245-1023, on Thursday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held at Strathroy United Church, 131 Front Street W, Strathroy; (519) 245-0276, on Friday, February 19, 2010 at 11 a.m. with Reverend Julia Sinclair officiating. Interment to follow in Strathroy Cemetery. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
