Obituary of Sjoukje Bylsma

Peacefully at Strathmere Lodge on Monday, February 1, 2010. Sjoukje Bylsma (DeGraaf) in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Tjibbe (Bill) Bylsma (1994) and dear mother of Diana & Bert Kingma of Stoney Creek and their children Jeremy and Angela of Smithville, Tayte, Caleb and Cadence; Chris & Julie of Sarnia and Jennifer (& Chris Prins) of Stoney Creek; Teresa Bylsma of London; Annette Bylsma of London; Rick & Jacqueline Bylsma of Strathroy and their children Jason, Nicolis and Jaylynn; Alice & Charly Salomons of Strathroy and their children Kevin & Sarah, Jules & Kai of London, Brian & Melissa, Landon of Ailsa Craig; Scott of Strathroy; and Dennis of Strathroy. Predeceased by a son Mike Bylsma (Muscular Dystrophy -1980) and also by her 6 siblings. Visitation for family and friends was held on Wednesday, February 3, 2010 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the East Christian Reformed Church, Strathroy, where a funeral service was held on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 11:00 am with Rev. Andrew DeGelder officiating. Interment at Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to Muscular Dystrophy will be appreciated by the family.
