Obituary of Joao Raposo

Peacefully at his home on Friday, January 15, 2010, Joao Pereira Raposo of Strathroy in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of the late Maria Soledade Raposo. Loving father of Armanda Melo, Rosa Leget, John Raposo, Ofelia Raposo, Dinarte Raposo and Sara Raposo. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 1 great- grandson and predeceased by 1 granddaughter. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday, January 17th from 6-9 PM. Vigil Prayers will be prayed at the funeral home on Sunday at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Monday, January 18th at 11:00 AM with Fr. Lucio Couto officiating. Interment in All Saints Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Joao.
