Obituary of Nick Gordey

Peacefully at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on Monday, January 11, 2010. Nick Gordey of Strathroy in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Ida (Macsek). Loving father of Carol Ann (2003 ), Betty Lou Dore and her friend Mark of Stoney Creek and Michael Gordey and his friend Sherrie of Winnipeg. Dear brother of Michael (Kaye) of Vegreville, Alberta, Elizabeth Paschko (2003), Annie Franko of Two Hills, Alberta, Harry (Shirley) of Burlington and Lillian Hornsby of Port Elgin. Sadly missed by his 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, his Auntie Margaret Soldan of Two Hills, Uncle John Paschko of Alberta and many nieces and nephews. Nick will also be missed by Ida's daughters Debbie and Diane (Flavio) and her sister Betty Angyal and her family; Brian and Minka Angyal. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Saturday, January 16 from 1 PM to 2 PM when a memorial service will be held with Rev. Don Keenliside officiating. Donations to the Strathroy Hospital Foundation or charity of choice would be appreciated.
