Obituary of Myrtle Akins

Peacefully at home on Saturday, April 25, 2009. Myrtle Agnes Akins (Branton), formerly of Adelaide Township, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late George Orland Akins (2005). Dear mother and grandmother of Ruth(Jim) Clark and their children Elizabeth (Geoff) Boyd of Burlington and Mary Jane of Toronto; Allan and his son Brent of London; Donald (Nancy) and their children Kyle and Brian of Sauble Beach; Joan(Terry) Plant and their children Jolene and Shannon of Watford. Survived by her sister Mabel Barkman of Acton and brother Clifford (Andrea) Branton of Belmont. A Funeral Service will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Tuesday, April 28, 2009 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Karen Nelles officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, Strathroy.
