Obituary of Jose Moniz

Peacefully, on Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at London Health Sciences Centre - Victoria Campus, Jose Medeiros Moniz of Strathroy in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of Laudalina Moniz (nee Pereira). Beloved father of Linda Gomes of Strathroy, Sophia (Michael) Collier and Cathy (Robert) Hannah both of London. Devoted grandfather of Vicki, Alicia, Lilly, Lorne and Paige. Special step-grandfather of Beau and Tara. Survived by sisters, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Friends will be received at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy, on Friday, March 20th from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Saturday, March 21, 2009 at 10 a.m. with Father Lucio Couto officiating. Interment to take place in All Saints Cemetery. Parish Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Friday, March 20 at 6:30p.m.. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
