Gary Wayne Schlegel

Peacefully, at Victoria Hospital on Wednesday, October 20^th, 2021.  Our beloved son, brother, uncle and great uncle passed away.  Gary lived his life the way he wanted...simple.  He loved his family, he loved the Lord and he loved to read.  Survived and forever cherished by his mother Marilyn and the late Wayne (1992).  Forever loved by his sisters Dawn (Doug) Cameron, Sandy Thomson and Lori Schlegel.  Always remembered by his nephews Adam Thomson (Chelsea Gordon), Derrick & Katie Thomson, Evan & Becca Thomson and nieces Cara & Jamie Hachey, Danielle Cameron (Dustin Traill), Pamela Cameron (Jason Hathaway) and Lindsay & Chris McLean and 15 great nephews and nieces.  Gary is also survived by 14 aunts and uncles and many cousins. 

Visitation will be held at DENNING'S of AILSA CRAIG on Sunday, October 24^th, 2021 from 12-2 p.m.  A private family service and burial to follow.  Interment in Nairn Mennonite Church Cemetery in Ailsa Craig.  In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
