Obituary of Dorothy Marshall

Peacefully at SMGH on Thursday, January 22, 2009, Dorothy Marguerite (Harris) in her 81st year. Beloved wife of 54 years of the late Eldon Marshall (2002) and dear friend of George Brothers. Loving mother of Wayne Marshall (Joyce), Judy Raaymaker (Adrian) both of Strathroy and Roxanne Carruthers (Bruce) of Melbourne. Dear Grandmother of Jason Marshall (Elicia), Melissa Earl (Greg), Tanya Brcic-Smith (Mike), Ryan Smith and Kaylin Carruthers. Great-grandmother of Elaina Earl and Elsie Brcic. Survived by her sister and best friend Pearl Ogg (Rod, dec.) Predeceased by her parents Dwight and Jessie Harris and Florence (Barnes) and Gordon Marshall. Also predeceased by her brothers Leo (Betty) and Jack Harris and brother-in-laws Ronald, Harley and Robert Marshall. Survived by sister-in-laws Linda Desjardins (Lionel), and Marion, Jean and Sonya Marshall and Shirley Harris and many nieces and nephews. Visitation at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Friday, January 23 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm where funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 24 at 1:30 pm with Dr. Brian McKenzie officiating. Interment in Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
