Obituary of Bert Doek

Peacefully on Wednesday December 3, 2008 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. Bert Doek went to be with his Lord in his 74th year. Loving husband of Ann Doek for 49 years. Beloved father of Bette Williams, Brenda and Dave Verhey and Ingrid Doek also loved by grandchildren Tara (Jeff) Travis, Justin (Courtney) Jordan and Jessica and great grandchild Emery. Visitation will be held at Providence United Reformed Church, Second St. Strathroy on Friday, December 5th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 6th at 1:00pm with Pastor Harry Zekveld officiating. Interment Strathroy Cemetery. Donations in memory of Bert to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Bert
