Obituary of Gloria Scrivens

Peacefully, after a short battle with cancer, on Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Gloria Elizabeth Scrivens (nee Clinton) of Strathroy in her 81st year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Scrivens (1972). Loving mother of Nancy Scrivens of London and Cheryl (Murray) Waters of Strathroy. Cherished Gran of Katelyn (fiance Chris Minten) and Kyle Waters of Strathroy and Tayler Scrivens of Aylmer. Step-grandmother of Ashley, Tina and Jessica. Loving sister of Bill Clinton (Jan) and sister-in-law of Bette and Jess Pawley, Shirley Scrivens and Shirley Gardiner. Predeceased by son Jeffrey (November 7, 2008) and her sister Arlene Foxcroft. Gloria loved travelling and arts & crafts. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and volunteering. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of the lives of Gloria and her son Jeffrey will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church in Strathroy on Saturday, December 6th at 11:00 am. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Auxiliary and London Health Sciences Centre - Cancer Clinic.
