Obituary of Harold Mundy

It is with great sadness that the family of Harold Mundy announces that he has been called home. Harold died with dignity, comfort and with his great sense of humour at C.E.E. Hospital, Petrolia, in his 82nd year. Harold was born in Brigden, ON and raised his family in Strathroy. Harold is survived by his soul mate and wife Edna (Anderson) Mundy of 53 years. Harold was cherished by his children Dennis and Nicole Mundy, Denise and Mark Millar, Danielle and Andrew Jackson and Dianne and Brian Smit. Grandfather of Kyle and Ellyse Mundy, Patrick and Amy Millar, Brian and Rebecca Jackso, Matthew and Kaitlyn Smit. Predeceased by his father Daniel (1974), mother Charlotte (1975). Brother of Annie Druiett (late Harold) and Lula (late Gordie Bromberg) and Hugh Murphy, late Roy Fergus, Daniel, May, Murratte, Leo and Lyle. Brother-in-law of William Anderson. Survived by several special nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Monday, August 4, 2008 at 11 a.m. with Father Lucio Couto as celebrant. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. Parish Prayers will be celebrated in the funeral home on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Memorial donations to the Lobo Animal Shelter or charity of choice would be appreciated by Harold's family.
