Obituary of Jean McKichan

Peacefully with her family at her side at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig, on Sunday, May 4, 2008, Jean Doris McKichan, R.N (McNaughton) passed , in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Elliott MacKichan. Loving mother of John and his wife Shirley and Bruce and his wife Marg. Cherished grandma of Debbie and Kevin Futcher, Jim and Heather MacKichan, Carrie Muma and Scott Brophey, Christine and Darren McCarter, and Scott and Jennifer MacKichan. Great-grandma of Andrew, Amanda, Kyle, Mikayla, Cadence, Katie and Ty. Dear sister of Grace Currie and sister-in-law of Eveyln McNaughton. Predeceased by her brothers Duncan and Gordon McNaughton, brothers-in-law Llewellyn "Boots" Currie and Manley Robinson and sisters-in-law Thelma McNaughton and Iola Robinson. Jean is surivived by many nieces and nephews. Jean was a dedicated nurse for many years. She will be missed by many friends who knew her through the years. Visitation will be held at T.Stephenson & Son Funeral Home, Ailsa Craig, on Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 2 p.m. with Rev. David Mitchell officiating. Interment to follow in Carlisle Cemetery. In memory of Jean, donations may be made to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital or Craigwiel Gardens.
