Obituary of Margaret Fern Walker

On September 29, 2024, Margaret Fern (McLachlan) Walker passed away peacefully, surrounded by her boys, in her 93^rd  year. Daughter of Margaret & Lawrence McLachlan. Predeceased by her husband Leroy Walker. Margaret is survived by her sons, Gary (Jane), David (Kim), Ron (Ann) and Glen (Nicole). She is also survived by grandchildren Jeffrey (Anita), Nathan (Marie), Jenny (Scott), Michael (Katie), Laura (Jordan), Stephen (Meghan), Kate (Brian), Kevin (Mandy), Becky (Jeffy) and Mallory (Alex). Also survived by 18 great grandchildren.

She will be missed by her brothers Duncan McLachlan, Kenneth McLachlan, sisters-in-law Libby McLachlan and  Mona (John) Currie. Predeceased by her siblings Elizabeth (Neil) McKichan, Jack (Emily) McLachlan, Mary McLachlan, Albert McLachlan, Winnie McLachlan & Elva McLachlan.

A visitation will take place on Friday, October 4^th, 2024 from 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG. Interment to follow at Nairn Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the North Middlesex Historical Society, South Huron Hospital Association or a charity of choice.
