Allan “Al” Evans

Peacefully surrounded by family at Craigwiel Gardens on November 15, 2024, Allan “Al” Evans passed away at the age of 89. Al was the devoted husband of the late Kay Evans. He was the proud father of Jim (Brenda) and the late Allan Jr. Al was predeceased by his parents Cecil and Gabrielle Evans and his brothers Clive and Bruce. Al will be missed dearly by his good friend Art Fowler.

Al was an avid sports fan, especially hockey and baseball. He loved a good meal and spending time with his family. Al took great pride is taking care of his family and was always protecting them. 

The family would like to extend a very special thank you to all of the staff at Craigwiel Gardens, Dr. Andrew Whynot, and Jess (ADOC) for their compassionate care and devotion to Al and his family throughout his time there.

Visitation will be held at DENNING’S OF AILSA CRAIG on Friday November 22, 2024, from 11:00am until 1:00pm. A funeral service will take place following visitation at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Nairn Cemetery.

In memory of Al, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
