Obituary of Johanna VanderWal

Went to be with her Lord, at Craigwiel Gardens, Ailsa Craig, on Wednesday March 19, 2008. Johanna Maria (DeWilde) VanderWal formerly of Strathroy in her 89th year. Loving wife of the late John VanderWal (June 2007). Loving mother of Bert and Mary, Rien and Betty all of RR#2 Ilderton. Proud grandmother of Sandra and Dale, Shelley, Laurie, Jim and Lisa, Terry and Marsha, Ken and Heather and Brian and Londii. Very proud great-grandma of Jacob,Tasha, Clayton, Tori, Carmen, Natalie, Kate and Leah. Survived by her sister-in-law Pietje VanderWal and two sisters in Holland. Visitation will be held at the East Christian Reformed Church, 476 Metcalfe St, E., Strathroy on Saturday, March 22nd from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm where a funeral service will be held on Monday, March 24th at 1:30 pm with Pastor Andrew de Gelder officiating. Burial to follow in Friends Cemetery, Coldstream. Donations to the Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital Foundation CT Scanner Fund would be appreciated.
