Obituary of Emilia Melo

Peacefully, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, on Friday, January 4, 2008. Emilia Hipolito Melo of Strathroy in her 82nd year. Born in Santa Cruz, Flores, Azores and the last of 11 children. Beloved wife of the late Joao Pacheco Freitas Melo (2004). Loving mother of Maria Isabel Sousa of Chatham. Cherished grandmother of Michelle Sousa of Kingston, Jeanette Sousa of Toronto and Brian Sousa of Strathroy and great-grandmother of Bryson and Gavin Sousa and Isaac Conde. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Sunday, January 6 from 7-9. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at All Saints Roman Catholic Church, Strathroy on Monday, January 7 at 11AM with Fr. Michael Kiszko officiating. Interment to follow in All Saints Cemetery. Donations to the Strathroy Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. Prayers will be held at the funeral home Sunday evening at 6:30PM.
