Obituary of Virginia Buttery

Peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital on December 1, 2007. Virginia Buttery (Gooden) of Kerwood. Much loved wife of Melvin Wilson. Survived by her children, Ginger Stockton of Strathroy, Sharon Zborowski (George) of Glencoe, Mark Buttery (Ricky) of Kerwood and Ann Van Dyk (Rob) of Kerwood. Survived by 9 grandchildren and their spouses; Andy and Mathew Stockton, Geoff and Sarah Zborowski, Sheila, Ginger and Paul Buttery and Devon and Erik Van Dyk and great Grandson Angus Stockton. Also survived by several nieces and nephews, brother-in-law William Oliver of Michigan, Step-sister Roberta Grass of Michigan, Sister-in-law Fran Long Carruthers of Strathroy and Jenny Buttery of Kerwood. Predeceased by husband and best friend Howard (2002), son-in-law Allan Stockton (2004), Mother Sadie Gibson (1986), Step-Father Robert Gibson (1992), Father Thomas Gooden (1943), Sister Dorothy Oliver (1992), and brother Thomas Gooden (2005). Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, Strathroy on Monday, December 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 4 at 1:30 PM with Bob and Thelma Perry officiating.
