Suddenly at home on Tuesday September 11, 2007., John Ivan Kinsman of Brigden and formerly of London and Harriston, in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of the late Lyma MacNeill (1997). Dear father of Ron of Brigden, Linda (Fred) Coulter of London, Sandra (Norm) McNaughton of Ilderton and Steven (Leslie) of Komoka. Grandfather of Jodie Johnson and Dale Coulter, Steven, Michael and Bradley McNaughton, Nicole and Melissa Kinsman. Great grandfather of Tyson Johnson. Also survived by three sisters, Muriel Humphrey of Strathroy, Norma Collins of London and Myrna (Evan) Morgan of Strathroy. Survived by sisters-in- law Connie Kinsman of Melbourne, Diane Kinsman of Forest, Lynda Kinsman of Komoka, Amy, Lucy, Ruby and Roma MacNeill and Sylvia VanIderstine of P.E.I., as well as brothers in law Gerald (Edna) MacNeill of Beach Point P.E.I and William McMurphy of Komoka. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Neil (1979) and Eva (Kellestine 2000) Kinsman, brothers Orley (1977), Ralph (2007), Robert (1989) and Gary (2007), sisters Helen Riddle (1987), Evelyn McMurphy (2006) and Velma Wells (2006). Brothers-in- law Earl Humphrey (1989) and Frank Wells (2000). John retired after 34 years driving transport for Inter City and Reimer Express. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed his summer home in Harriston, making it his permanent residence after retiring. He is fondly remembered by his many neighbours and Old Order Mennonite friends and kept in touch with them after relocating to Brigden in 2005 due to failing health. Friends may call at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W Strathroy, on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Friday, September 14, 2007 at 1:00 p.m with Rev. Charlie Seed officiating. Interment in the family plot in Longwood Cemetery in Melbourne. If desired donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
