Obituary of Allan Gillan

Passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by his family on Tuesday, March 27th, 2007. Allan John Gillan of Strathroy, in his 63rd year. Survived by his loving partner, and best friend Joyce Routley (Minielly) of Strathroy. Dear father of Shelley and her husband Jason Scott-Douglas of Arva, Michael Gillan, Shane Gillan, Daniel and his wife Krista Levesque of Muskoka and Tammy and her husband Dwayne Boshart of Strathroy. Loving grandfather of Tyler, Natasha and Wesley. Allan was born in England and is predeceased by his parents Alf and Jean Gillan and a sister Ann Gillan. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Allan's Life will take place at the Warwick Village United Church Cemetery on Saturday March 31st, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. Captain Edward Hayden to officiate. Friends and relatives are invited back to 15 Centre Street, Strathroy, one block south of Front Street for fellowship and reminiscing following the service. The family wish to extend their appreciation to Dr. David Crowley and Staff at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Strathroy Hospital CT Scanner Fund would be appreciated by the family. Donation cards available at reception hall.
