Obituary of James MacDonald

Peacefully, at home on Wednesday, January 31st, 2007. James Alexander MacDonald of Strathroy, in his 67th year. Beloved husband of Lynda (Joyes) MacDonald of Strathroy and dear father of Kim and Darren Grogan, Kory MacDonald and Anne Irvine, and Keri and Larry Hitchcock all of Strathroy. Very special grampa to Gregory, Shawn and Bailey Grogan, James, Chelsea and Joshua MacDonald and Abbigail Hitchcock. Also survived by a brother Ren MacDonald (Tilly) of Woodstock and a sister Anne Logan (Grant) of Toronto. Jim was a proud OPP officer who served the Strathroy and area community for his entire 32 year career. Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe St. W., Strathroy on Friday, February 2nd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service from the chapel will be held on Saturday, February 3rd at 11:00 am. Rev. Charles Seed officiating. Interment Strathroy Cemetery. Donations to Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital CT Scan Fund would be appreciated by the family.
