Obituary of Cora Waterman-Wood

After a determined fight a body succumbed but a soul soared On January 24th, 2007, Cora Jane Waterman-Wood in her 65th year made her journey home. Her spirit will live in the hearts of the family and friends that she cherished. Husband soul-mate, Peter Wood. Beloved daughters Jane Ross and Dale Ross and their husbands Eric Vrancken and Ruud Terpstra. Enriched by her "Babies" grandchildren Jasper and Shae Terpstra and Caelen and Ethan Vrancken. Remembered by her stepchildren, Roy (Lisa) Wood, Pamela Wood and children Jamie and Bethan, Caroline Blaxland and children Peter, Katie and Chris, and Damian Wood. Treasured by her brother Frank Waterman, nieces Dawn (Dom) Bosco and Anne Waterman and nephew Michael (Lisa) Waterman and sister-in-law Donna Waterman. Lovingly missed by cousin Jim (Patti) MacNeil. Cherished, always by her best friends, Janice Schalk and Trish Hinkely. The Storm of last night has crowned this morning with golden peace". Visitation will be held at Denning Bros. Funeral Home, 32 Metcalfe Street West, Strathroy on Sunday January 28th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A private celebration of Cora's Life will be held at a later date.
